2017 Submission Deadline

Registration and Set-up

Please arrive as early as possible on the day of your presentation. We will be uploading PowerPoint presentations beginning at 7:30 a.m. Registration staff will load your PowerPoints for verbal presentations to the ATCEM master file prior to your presentation. Inform the staffers at the registration table that you are a presenter. Verbal presenters, please bring your PowerPoint slides (if you are using them) to the room where you will be presenting. A staff person will help you load your slides onto the room’s computer in preparation for your presentation.

Presentation Guidelines

Individuals selected for breakout session presentations will present through a brief talk followed by an open discussion. Presenters will be assigned a presentation time slot based upon their session topic.
  • Presenters are encouraged to allow for at least a 5-minute question and answer session following the presentation. A session moderator will be available to notify presenters of the time limits.
  • LCD projectors and computers will be provided in the session rooms for presenters that have PowerPoint slides for their presentations.
  • Presenters using PowerPoint are asked to supply their slides in electronic form (USB flash drives are the preferred format) to conference organizers at registration in order to ensure they are preloaded on the computers. Presenters are encouraged to email their PowerPoint slides to atcem@anthc.org prior to the conference as a backup.
  • Presenters are encouraged to bring handouts about their research to provide to interested attendees. Presenters should be sure to highlight their name and contact information.

Training Guidelines

Individuals selected for a training session will be assigned a date and time slot based upon their training length and topic.
  • Trainings must be either 4 hours, 8 hours, or 12 hours in length.
  • Please indicate any special accommodations needed prior to the day of your training.
  • LCD projectors and computers will be provided in the session rooms for presenters that have PowerPoint slides for their presentations.
  • Trainers are encouraged to bring handouts about their topic to provide to interested attendees.
